"How long have you been a cheerleader again?" Karyn said.
"A while now," Zoe said. "It seems like forever."
"Zoe...do you remember not being a cheerleader?"
"Not really. Like I said I've been a cheerleader for a long time."
"No you haven't." Karyn said stopping her. "Just yesterday you going on about cheerleading tryouts and wanting to join the squad."
Zoe laughed. "Yeah right Karyn. If I wasn't a cheerleader then how come I'm friends with Melissa? And how could I know to look this good?" She asked gesturing to herself.
Karyn look at Zoe confused. She wasn't quite sure how to answer that which is why she needed the stone to find out what was going on.
The two girls walked in silence the rest of the way until they reached Jon's house.
"Mom! I'm home!" Zoe announced as she entered the house. To Karyn's surprise Jon came into the hall from the living room.
"Hi honey!" He replied. "How was your day?" He asked her.
