It wasn't till the late morning that Jon finished giving Mikey a simple breakfast and keeping him company until he nodded off again.
He took advantage of the opportunity to take a shower and change out of his nightgown into something he could wear around the house.
Selecting his clothes from his bedroom Jon quickly undressed and stepped into the shower not realising that he was using his mother's bathroom. After stepping out of the shower Jon wrapped a towel around his chest and then another around his hair.
Exiting the bathroom he got dressed in the clothes that he had laid out on his mother's bed. A simple T-shirt and a pair of comfortable jeans. Once dressed however Jon felt that something was off.
He decided to look in his mother's drawer and eventually found what he needed. He sat down on the bed and rolled up a pair of tights up his legs. Satisfied Jon then sat down at the vanity table and put on some of his mother's jewellery.
Her watch went on his wrist and then he slipped on a bracelet on the other. Jon then caught sight of his reflection in the mirror and frowned.
"Could use more colour" he thought to himself as he absentmindedly reached for the makeup that was on the table.
Once finished Jon then looked at himself and was satisfied with his appearance. He then headed downstairs to clean breakfast dishes. Once done he sat on the couch to watch the news before Mikey woke up.
