It took till the movie started for Sarah to recognize that she had wanted to see this movie, she was a huge fan of the male lead, and had something of a school girl crush on him. How had she forgotten this was coming out? She settled happially into her seat and told Karyn how much she was going to love it.
Karyn on the other hand had planned on avoiding this movie for that same reason, she thought the male lead was boring and that the female lead was nothing more than a feminine version of the male lead, two boring, Albeit good looking actors in a "i'm hot, your hot, lets be hot together" story wasn't Karyn's cup of tea, but Sarah seemed really excited about it so she hunkered down and let it happen.
The lights went down, The show started.
The lights went up. The credits rolled.
"So what did you think?'
"I loved it." Karyn surprised herself.
"I could tell, you kept reacting to everything."
"Sorry I wasn't distracting was I?"
"No, it was nice, gave me something to focus on.'
"Oh did you not like it?"
"I just...he seemed sort of boring, and so did she.... I don't know."
" I sort of get that, but I mean, the way he looked at her, and the way she looked, and those abs...." Karyn trailed off.
" See but that's my point, you are in love with his abs not the story.' Sarah retorted. "He was just sort of a meathead."
"Meatloaf more like it. Yum." Karyn stopped to look at the poster in the lobby with dreamy eyes.
" well, you're no Cyndi Carmile. So keep dreaming." Sarah said pulling Karyn away.
Karyn took that as a challenge.
"Bet you I can be!" She turned towards the mall, fire in her eyes. "Lets go shopping!"
