Just as they said, they went to the park and I accompanied them. I was not sure what they were doing. I got that Aenos was impressed and wanted to be friendly. Why the others were here confused me a bit. Since we all had tryouts, we had a lot more in common to talk about than we did during lunchtime. It seemed most of them were confident they were getting on the team. All except Agamos. "I don't know. There were a lot of rabbits, cheetahs and horses that were faster than me. What if I really don't make the cut?" he wondered out loud. The other centaurs encouraged him and we hung out for an hour before Cesus got a phone call. After hanging up, he sucked his teeth and gripped the phone tightly. I almost thought he was going to break it in his hand. He said "That was my sire. Said it was time to get home. For a family meal or some shit! Fucking old man!" It seemed to be a bit too strong of a reaction for such a tame request. There was obviously something going on, but I did not want to get involved. There was no point in trying to raise his flags or anything. Maybe if it came up again?

Because of Cesus leaving in a huff, the mood was dampened. Soon after Michus said he had to go too. That left Agamos, Aenos, and me loitering around in the park. It was then that I started thinking of my exit strategy. The day was over. There was no reason to stay if half of them were already gone. We went around to where the playground was and looked at it for a bit. "What's it like to play on those things?" Aenos asked me. I looked up at him in surprise. Agamos seemed interested too. I told them about the various attractions: slide, monkey bars, jungle gym, swings and the very famous seesaw. They laughed at my explanations of things. "Humans always come up with the funniest things!" Aenos said when he calmed down. "You wouldn't see a centaur trying to climb up and down places. We can travel as far and as fast as we want." Agamos said in agreement. "Well, excuse me, horse asses! I like exploring and if it is something high up, I'm not scared of climbing a bit." I huffed with a smile on my face. "Sunny, you wouldn't even know how to handle an ass like this!" Aenos said.

I rose an eyebrow at that. "And what if I did? You don't know me that well." I said. That put them off kilter. "... You've been with a centaur before Sunny?" Agamos asked. I shrugged with a smirk. "Really!? Is that true!?" Aenos demanded with excitement. I brushed it off with a chuckled and said "That is a story for another day. I have to go home for now. See you guys later." They looked at each other in disbelief as I walked off. That went pretty well. I wanted to go home and get it over with so that I could see whether or not I got on the team. I did the homework and waited for time to pass. When it was time to go to school I made my way there with a brisk pace. There was nothing to worry about, but I still felt a bit excited. It was almost the moment of truth and I wanted to see the results of the tryouts. Class was breezed through as I just wanted to get to lunch. When I did, I was apart of the crowd that ran over to the bulletins. It was impossible to fight so many furries at once, especially the massive and aggressive ones. I just had to wait my turn. When I got there, I looked at the football one and saw...
