"Great" Jon said. "We'll have some brother and sister bonding time." Something about that statement seemed off but Jon shrugged his shoulders as he tucked into his own lunch.
They were soon joined however by Karyn and surprisingly Sarah.
"Hello, girls," Jon said. "You two are looking...like peas in a pod."
Karyn rolled her eyes and Sarah seemed pleased. "Thank you," she told Jon.
Zoe looked at Sarah. "I heard you quit the cheerleading squad."
"Yeah, it wasn't right for me," she said.
"I'm thinking of...trying out," Zoe said.
"If you like that sort of thing," Sarah said, disinterested. "Tell you what...I have some cheerleading stuff at my house. I don't need it anymore...I don't even want to see it. If you make the team, you can have it."
"That sounds great..." Zoe paused. "Why are you being so nice to me?"
Sarah looked at her. "I really don't want it anymore...and you do. Maybe you can do something nice for me sometime."
