The reason I ask is because I fear you are falling into the tvtrope pitfall. (You speak a lot of 'tropese' so to me that's almost like l33t speak. ;) to them there is only one way a story can go... I believe you are more imaginative then what a website written by 'some people' says should happen. Jon is that complicated. We're we to follow 'the formula' things wouldn't be as dynamic I think.
