"I still think you are working too hard," Miss Fine told Linda as they sat down for a one on one. She'd set herself up in the guest room, as sort of a place to take to them privately. "When you aren't at work...do you think about it?"
Linda looked at her. "Why are you and Jon on a first name basis?"
"I suppose that is the relationship Jon and I have...we've become rather friendly. My relationship is different with all those I counsel...you shouldn't worry about it."
That made sense...but Linda was still jealous that Jon had a special relationship with her and she didn't.
"When you are relaxing, do you think about your responsibilities? Or do you just let yourself relax?"
"I think about them..." Linda said.
"Now, that isn't healthy," she told the woman. She reached into her bag and offered Linda a cheap tablet. "I got you this. You see...in this hectic world...people don't watch TV on a screen anymore...they watch on this. And play games...it's like a TV for your bag. Some people even just use a smartphone now."
"I...can't accept this..." she said.
"It is a loaner from the school library. You can return it next week."
Miss Fine was a rather convincing individual, and pretty soon Linda was looking at the tablet.
