He stumbled out of his room toward the bathroom and suddenly froze. There were workmen dressed in coveralls in his house. They didn't seem to notice him.
One of them was carrying an unconscious Zoe out of her room. Jon hid...the workmen seemed to be everywhere and he wasn't sure what they would do if they found him.
He wondered why no one else in the house was woken up by all the activity...or how they had gotten in in the first place.
