Steven nervously walked out of the shop feeling and realizing just how big the whole place had become… well… how small -she- was now. She wanted to cry- she wanted to just- well- she wasn’t sure. She had to talk to someone but the sheer embarrassment of wearing girl-clothing like this had frozen her thoughts.

She knew she wouldn’t look ‘that’ out of place exactly- well- sort of. She was a young girl in a dress… it was just that she had only been this way for ten minutes. Where did these clothes come from? Where did this body come from? Did she swap into someone else’s body? If so… where was her body? Did some young girl wake up with his?

“I really hope not,” She quietly thought as she wondered- partly just by normal instinct- towards the machine to pay for her car. It was when she walked up to the kiosk though, that she realized she didn’t have the card! Actually she didn’t have her phone… wallet.. keys… well- they had to be here somewhere right?

She felt around her clothes quietly- discreetly- probing the waist around the skirt. Emotionally she was a little uneasy about exploring her clothing like this, before realizing that this dress didn’t seem to have any pockets at all let alone the contents of her old clothings. “Where did my stuff go!” She felt herself rising in panic. Her keys… her cards.. her phone- all gone! She gulped nervously. Now she really was in trouble! Could she prove who she really was? She was just some girl… with no identity. She couldn’t even prove her citizenship!

“It’s too risky to go to someone now” She realized. If she did that… and they found her with nothing- well- they would just toss her in an orphanage! She could walk home and talk to someone who knew her first. Yes, then everything should work. She could talk to her father, or sister maybe. She would have to leave the car here for now though and try to make her way across town… in the evening.. as a young girl with no money-

“Hi there.” A teen-girl smiled waving her over. “Um, can we talk a sec?”

Steve tensed a little. It was still unnerving just how big people were. She took a slight step back out just- just again with instinct. “Uh- hi.” What did this girl want? She felt a bit angry at herself- she shouldn’t be so terrified but.. her physical presence had just gone from strong guy to cute girl- it was hard not to be cautious.

“… I um… I need to apologize.” She said with a clearing of her throat. “Your .. situation is kinda my doing.” She said again with a sombre look.

Her situation? Did that mean… Steve stared at her. The elder girl was quite busty, and looked to be about sixteen- maybe seventeen. She had black hair, trailing downwards into twintails. She wore rather fashionable clothing but also a thigh length skirt. She seemed to like showing her legs, given she was wearing sandals. “You mean you- you changed me?!” Steven asked her voice rising.

The teenager nodded. “Yeah! Uh.. well- no. It’s not like I chose your new form. It looks great though! So… there are some rules I need to tell you-”

“You did this to me?!” The girl cried out again exasperated.

“Shh, not so loud-” The girl groaned as a few on lookers glanced at them.. “Oh don’t be like that Sis! I’ll make it up to you!” the girl shouted back- trying to make it look like some sibling quarrel. It seem to do the trick as everyone just ignored them. “Phew… disaster averted. Okay, I have some of your things-” She took out a pink purse and handed it over to the young girl. “Here you go!”

Steven hesitantly took the bag- purse- thing with a golden clip at the top. Opening it, she found just a few of her things… “Is this.. magic…” she asked.

“Well- yeah. It’s magic.” The girl nodded. “Very smart! That will help. Most people deny magic is possible.” She crossed her arms in thought. “Oh almost forgot. Now the rules you see-”

Steven looked inside and found… her house key and wallet but- “What about my car? My phone?”

The teenager gave a reluctant look. “Oh. Well you see, you’re too young to drive now. I’m sorry but I had to take your special key away from you. For your own safety. I foresaw disaster in that path. I’ll hand you the phone once I explain the rules-”

“I can’t leave my car here! They’ll tow it away or something.” The young girl protested. “Look- just undo whatever you did to me okay? I’ll not say a word about it. Take the ring back!”

“Oh right it’s a ring now! Uh- Ummm… I can’t.” she said sadly. “Well I can- but I can’t.”

Steven stared again at her. She had… no idea what was going on. She felt more then a little afraid. Anyone capable of changing someone like this had to be treated with a bit of caution. She was angry… upset and- maybe it was this body but those feelings seemed to bubble more on the surface. Was it just from being a kid? “Change me back!” she repeated. “Or I’ll scream and expose everything to you!”

Again some onlookers glanced at them.

This seem to make the teenager even more tense. “I told you to keep quiet- oh dear. No. We’re heading to a bad future. Uh, just please go home while I figure something out. I’ll talk to you later okay? You need to meet the other girls! I’ll send someone to you so don’t worry! We’re going to win this.”

Steve blinked- and the girl vanished. Just vanished! She looked around for her in confusion. “Hey- where- who-”

“What is with that kid?” One onlooker said.

“… I think she’s talking to her imaginary friend.” The other said.

“.. oh. That’s cute- I guess.”

Fortunately Steven didn’t live too far away. Though with the sun setting, her legs getting tired… why did it feel like she had just walked twice as far- oh right. Short legs. Short legs that were getting cold wearing a damn skirt!

She glanced around. To everyone else she was just a kid coming home from school. Another problem she could feel- this body- it needed to use the bathroom soon. Gross! This was going to be bad.

She was home at least. Opening the door, she pretty much just fell into the sofa. “Well.. at least this isn’t all bad- it’s like a bed to me.” She wondered what her actual bed would be like. No- best not dwell on that. Was she really going to spend a night in this body too?!

She needed some help. A friend… someone to help her deal with all this but that woman took away her phone! “Mobile phone is gone… I don’t have a landline- oh! I do have my computer.” Technology saves the day! “Let’s see..” She could contact her friend Jason. “Jason lives close by. Once I explain the situation.”

How to phrase ‘I turned into a girl’ without her getting blocked for spam though? “He’ll never believe me if I just type this up.”

“Jason, I need some help in my house. Can you come? I’ll explain when you get here.”

There was a pause.. but the message got through. “..sure. Sounds pretty urgent. You okay?”

“I’ll explain when you’re here. It is urgent. Thanks man.”

“Okay, I’ll be there in about an hour.”
