Unlocking the door, Dr. Nakahashi stepped inside, coming face to face with his future band mates. Whereas before their changes they were Tom Welles, Molly Stevens, Amber Levine, and Trevor Blake, the people standing before Nakahashi were all vastly different from their former selves...
Tammy was a petite and perky blonde with long and elaborately styled hair.
Mandy, formerly Molly, was the oldest. It was her room they were meeting in.
Amber was sitting next to her sister, Trish. Sometimes, even though Amber was only two years older than Trish, it seemed like they were mother and daughter the way Amber fussed over her. Amber acted like a mother hen to the entire band, even Mandy, who was the only one older than she was.
She was always telling Tammy to get more sleep. Right now, Trish was telling her about some nice cute man she'd met on her walk back to the hotel. Trish was always attracting the attention of the wrong men.
It was a contrast to Mandy, who was always in control and very secretive about her romantic encounters. She knew how the fans tended to pry into the lives of musicians and liked to keep hers private...or as private as possible. Last thing she wanted was something getting out on the internet.
Fortunately, with Trish and her poor choices, and Tammy and her overwhelming perkiness, Mandy's escapades were usually not even noticed. None of them knew she'd been entertaining before Tammy had arrived. And she wasn't planning on telling them.
It was into this room that Nakahashi stepped. Everyone paused what they were doing.
"Where have you been?" Amber demanded.
"I got lost. I've never been to this town before. It's bigger than it looks."
Mandy rolled her eyes a bit. "Tammy was out signing autographs, Trish was off wandering around and getting picked up by strange guys...Are Amber and I the only ones worried about this Death Pew situation?"
"Wait.." Nakahashi said. "Death Pew is in town?" He shuddered in a feminine manner. "They are just so..."
"I'm calling our agent about this. She should have known about this," Mandy said, grabbing her phone. "Maybe she has some ideas. Some publicity or something."
