While some high schools and colleges had started to use immersion passes here and there for various reason. Immersion University was one of the first colleges to become a full fledge Immersion Pass Campus. It used to be just a typical college, but recently it had made some kind of deal with the Immersion Corporation for a massive increase in their funding in exchange for transitioning into a fully immersive college. They shut down for the summer and have had some massive renovations and expansion making it one of the nicest and biggest non ivy league colleges in the country. All staff members were required to have an immersion pass and once school started back up all students would be require to as well.

Many staff and students were a bit anxious about the whole thing since a lot of teachers who didn't want to get a pass found they had no choice since refusing and leaving would lead to a loss of tenure. And a lot of students who were already enrolled from the year before didn't exactly sign up for this, but not everyone was able to just transfer away. There was a lot of speculation and rumors about how it would all work and the college was being a bit vague about the entire thing. A month before the start of school many students were offered various financial aid grants and scholarships with some very tricky contracts where most people didn't understand what they agreed to. There was also some great new student loads that only made you pay back a tiny amount that also included some really intense lawyer wording in their terms. While some of these agreements would lead to the campus having more say over the type of pass that the students would have others really were just good deals allowing the students to have more choice.

Two weeks before the grand reopening on the college there was a mandatory orientation. It was mostly just your typical orientation with lots of boring talks and information dumps as you were shown around. Though you could see most of the faculty all seemed to look like the same 30something brunette woman wearing a very professional, and slightly tight outfit that showed off their milfy bodies. It would end with the students taking an online survey in the computer lab. The survey was full of lots of questions. First it started with mandatory options like high school information, address, age, sex, and then questions about which of the new financial aid options if any where used. Next it was about 100 questions that were all marked down as optional about your interests. Once this part of the survey was done it would then suggest various majors or ask if you wanted to keep your current major if you were a returning student. You could either change or declare a major now, but there was also and option to skip this step and be marked down as undecided. If you choose undecided then a big pop up would appear with a massively long terms agreement for you to accept. Most people wouldn't read it and accept, but it basically said that if you choose undecided then your major and pass would be given to one of the guidance counselors to decide what your college path would be. Once you agreed to this you'd need to request to change majors with your assigned guidance counselor who could reject the request or change your major and pass at will. Otherwise based on the information students gave today the college would determine the passes they would get and their awareness levels. Depending on the different programs students signed up for and their grades they might even find themselves in situations where the passes wouldn't be removed until graduation or bring up their grades. Students who dropped out or failed their programs would need to pay to have their pass removed themselves which is pretty expensive.

Finally at the end students were giving a new school ID card, but it had no picture or name just an ID number. They said pictures would be done first day of school and finally dismissed orientation leaving everyone a bit more anxious about the coming weeks when school started. Eventually the day was finally here. The grand opening of Immersion University!
