Jon wasn't sure how much time had passed when he took the headphones off. He looked around at the others to see what, if anything, had changed.
Pete looked pretty much the same but his posture, or the way he carried himself, seemed slightly different. Biff seemed to have undergone the same changes but more significantly. He was sitting up straight and looking between the other 3. Normally, when Biff looked at Jon it was with contempt in his eyes but now his eyes liked softer and his face showed hints of admiration for all 3.
"OK kids, no time to waste." Let's go and get dressed. "Would you look at the time, the day has flown and I'll need to get dinner on soon. Pete, honey, will you find your room upstairs and change out of those clothes. You should find everything you need upstairs. Take some time to get used to your new life and I'll let you know when dinner is ready."
"Woah...dude...that's weird. Sorry. I don't mean to be bossy but it just kinda feels normal now." Biff added.
Pete just laughed and said, "Don't worry about it dude...eh...Biff...eh Mom?!?"
"Just call me Biff for now. We can ease into this over time I'm sure. OK, Jon, Karyn please follow me up to your room. I'll help you get dressed and then you can hang out until dinner."
With newfound enthusiasm that he didn't quite understand Jon jumped up saying"OK, Biff. I can't wait to see my new room." Karyn looked at him a bit funny but joined him and Biff on the way upstairs.
