Sorrow looked at the woman. She was in desperate need of a change. She was all buttoned up...frantic as she looked about her daughter.
She sensed the tension between the two parents. You didn't need to have a knack like Sorrow's to see that. Considering how much the band's newest groupie had been complaining about them, she already knew a lot more than she needed to.
She spoke to both of them in a low soothing voice. "You know, you two are entirely too uptight," she said, fingering one of the objects around her neck in a rhythmic manner. "You two love each other, right? But you just keep fighting. Your daughter told me about it. Why don't you just...let go...remember why you two fell in love in the first place..." She continued in that haunting, yet soothing voice for several moments more.
"Excuse me," Sorrow said. The couple didn't really hear her anymore. They were too busy making out like a couple of hormonal teenagers.
