Rachel returned to class, feeling more certain of herself. She felt like she actually might have a shot at Danny, with Gloria's help, of course. She also felt feminine, something Rachel didn't recall feeling for years, though in truth, she had gone her whole life without feeling feminine before, and for a good reason.
Maybe it was the clothes. She usually didn't wear skirts, much less a miniskirt, but Gloria had insisted upon it as part of her ongoing attempts to bring Rachel out of her shell. Rachel herself wasn't that hard on the eyes, with distinct Italian features, a natural tan, and thick brunette hair tied back into a ponytail. Her bust was modest, especially compared to Gloria's monsters, but she had the slender build which worked well with her moderate proportions.
She tried to turn her attention back to class, but kept finding herself giving sideways glances towards Danny. He was so handsome, and surprisingly nice too. Rachel had had a crush on Danny since grade school, but to him she had always been "Ricky", the girl who spent her time trying her hardest to compete with the boys.
But Danny was the sort of guy who Rachel would be willing to branch out for. Get in touch with her feminine side. Nothing major, but Gloria's guidance would definitely improve Rachel's chances at getting Danny.
Rachel tried to refocus on the class, feeling a new determination for her goal.
Meanwhile, the businessman in the bow tie had arrived at his house, and set about fulfilling Sorrow's suggestion. But like with Alana, Sorrow's suggestion was going to have a far greater impact on the man than she had ever imagined.
