By this time, Colonel Yuki Rogers was just walking into the hospital located in downtown Lake Point. A subordinate of hers was recuperating from a battle injury in one of the rooms and she made sure that she came by to visit, to uplift the soldier's spirits.
As she walked down the hall, she became even older, up to 30 years old. And she had lost most of her feminine curves. She wasn't there yet, but she was slowly becoming a powerfully-built Caucasian man in his late-thirties.
"Excuse me," she said, grabbing the attention of a nurse. "Do you know where room number 305 is?"
The nurse nodded, then told Yuki where to go. And after another two minutes, she was standing next to a complete stranger who was in the hospital bed, recuperating from an ailment. In other words, it had nothing to do with an army-related injury. But it would soon.
"How are you feeling, Lieutenant?" she asked.
The person in the hospital bed blinked and looked at her. "Excuse me?"
