A few minutes later, Agents Willis and Folmer and Dr. Bertman finally arrived at the military base. More agents from their clandestine agency would show up later, but right now it was most important that the leading agents and the scientific expert be there before anyone else.

"Are you Willis?" General Preston asked, walking towards one of the agents.

"Yes. Can you show us Colonel Rogers? Dr. Bertman would like to study him as soon as possible."

The general waved over one of his men and ordered him to take Morris to the interrogation room. And soon, Dr. Bertman was out of sight, taking all of his scientific equipment with him.

"Kendall was able to make contact with us, but only so much, before he began to lose himself to the phenomenon," Agent Willis explained, as he began to walk with the general into the base. "He says that we're dealing with a Class 4. So what we need you to do is quarantine the town. Make sure that no one enters and no one leaves. Until we can find a way to fix whatever has happened, we can't let this phenomenon expand any further."

The general nodded. "I'll have my men get on that right away."
