Sierra Melina headed toward the school. On the way, she dialed Cecelia's teacher. She had the number on speed-dial. The only problem was, that the person on the other end of the phone had no idea what she was talking about.
"What?" snarled Lauren O'Brien into her iPhone in front of her locker at Lake Point High. The popular redheaded girl had no time to talk to random losers. Yet she answered the call from the number she didn't recognize. "Cecelia? Yeah, I've babysat her, but otherwise I don't see what she's got to do with me." Of course, Lauren had never babysat Cecelia, who didn't even exist until a few minutes ago. But her memories told her otherwise ... just as they told her she wasn't an elementary school teacher. "I'm in high school. Yours. I'm just a student. You should know that. You're the principal. I don't know why you're calling me Mrs. Baker. Whatever. Goodbye!"
