Danielle, who preferred Danny now, was in a good mood. Their coach treated every practice as another game, and they competed against each other in smaller groups.
Still full of adrenaline, she headed to class. Walking down the hall, she subtly checked out some of the girls in the hallway. It wasn't like Danny was rude about it, or a jerk...and many of the girls seemed to appreciate the return view themselves.
Danny was currently single, but was on good terms with most people. He wasn't like the football players, who spent most of their time making people's lives miserable.
He slid into a seat and turned to the person next to him. "How was cheerleading practice?"
She got a blank look from them. "Who are you? What do you mean, cheerleading practice? I'm not a cheerleader."
"The uniform could've fooled me. Didn't you have time to change before class?"
