Grace turned to Jon, who by now had changed significantly. His features had softened, until he looked like a female or at least androgynous version of himself, while his skin and hair had continued to darken. His smooth legs had taken on feminine proportions, and his hips and rear stretched his denim skirt in a pleasing manner. Not that any of them noticed these differences.

"So, what did you see?" Grace asked, as the elderly woman began to lose years and gain height.

"Well, first there was a strange woman. Short, I think. She was dressed very gothically, you know, dark colors and heavy makeup," Jon began. "She even answered the door. She looked hung over, I think. Then there were two more people in the kitchen. One was a little girl, african american, I think, wearing overalls. The other was a woman, dressed in yellow, with red hair."

Grace raised an inquisitive eyebrow. "And you're sure this is what you saw?"

"Of course," Jon said.

Grace sighed, pulling a notepad from the pocket of her uniform. "Alright. Just a very strange happenstance, is all..."

Laura and Linda had just pulled into the parking lot of the Spiked Pit and gotten out of the hearse when Gretchen called Linda back. The pair's changes had continued.

Laura's hair was now quite short, and was now teased into spikes which stuck out in every direction. Her bare arms were now covered in tattoos, and she was wearing dark makeup not unlike Linda's now. She looked to be about thirty at this point.

Linda, meanwhile, looked to be about twenty eight, and had just dropped below five feet. Her eyes had changed to a deep blue eyes that looked purplish or indigo in the right lighting. She crouched down, pulling the cell phone from her boot again.

"What is it now?" she asked, after checking the number and answering the phone.
