"Tsk. I don't care mom. I need to go." Luke said as he slammed the front door and started walking to the bus stop. Another day starting off with a fight with his mom.

Luke was a 19 year old guy, a bit short for a guy about 5'5", had brown eyes and wore glasses, and has short curly brown hair. His skin was also a bit pale from being inside most of the time. He for sure wasn't in shape, but he wasn't fat or skinny. His build was pretty lean with just a slight bit of softness on his stomach. He spent most of his time in his room playing video games. He hasn't been leaving his room except to go get food and has only been showering twice a week since he graduated high school last year. He was never that social and lost touch with the few real life friends he had after high school.

Today like many days Luke got in a fight with his mom, or his step dad, or his older sister. Usually about how he is just sitting around and not doing anything with his life and needs to go to school or get a job. His mom keeps trying to get him to go to school and his step dad keeps offering him a job at his business. His sister just calls him a loser for taking advantage of his parents.

After a short bus ride to a the local starbucks Luke got out and headed in getting in line and ordered his drink. He felt his phone buzz and he got a text from his step dad telling him they canceled his cards and they were cutting him off. He instantly got mad, but then the barista told him his card was declined and he awkwardly told her

"Sorry... never mind..." before he turned to leave. He started on his way back to the the bus stop for a moment before realizing he didn't have money now to take it back and had to walk.

As he walked back home he saw a fancy new building in town. The Immersion Center had just opened. He started to walk past stopping as he saw the big wall of advertisings and pamphlets on the side of the building making him stop to look over at the various opportunities available considering he was just cut off.
