Nadine tried to say something, but was distracted when she heard someone call her name. She turned, allowing Laura the opportunity to escape, to see the person who called her. Nadine frowned, trying to recognize the person walking in here direction, unaware that her own outfit had suddenly shifted as well...
"Look what you made me do," she said as they came closer.
"Who was that?"
Nadine looked in the direction Laura had escaped in. "It's complicated," she said. What was? she asked herself, still uncertain. She hoped Laura would be all right. Even though they hadn't seen each other in a long while...
She looked up at the stranger. "Come inside, I think I need to make some tea and calm down."
