Facsimiles yes but the copies are made from human tech and are not as good as the original. I have a feeling they won't hold up under the same strains- but they let her keep her modesty without making her experience high gravity as long as she is careful with them. (I didn't want to be too horrible to her)
I suspect the material changes properties the faster it travels so it doesn't prevent anneza's light jump by changing mass as she reaches c. Anneza's own body probably does something similar. This is also why she has to carry small objects within her dress to do the light jump- or it just won't happen
And thanks... Astronomy is something I've always loved. I know the relative distances of the planets and stars... That's why I gave anneza the Lagrange access routes to avoid her walking the void of space while at the same time balancing it so not to make her too powerful using plausible physics ;)
Of course I didn't make the char... Just inspired by it. If nothingsp feels different by all means suggest otherwise ;)
