Zoe's former friend Athena walked over to a couple of other Goths just outside the school. "Hey, guys," she said to Zelda Whitefield and Trevor Blake. "Have either of you seen Zoe today?"
They both looked at each other, clearly confused. Then Trevor said "Who the fuck is Zoe?"
This obviously puzzled Athena. "What do you mean 'who's Zoe'? Zoe Madison. She's been our friend for years."
"Uh ... not that I know of," Zelda said.
