Linda turned, resigning herself to continuing to live the life of a child. She moved past a pack of giggling girls. "Thank you, Mrs. Connelly," one of them said to the woman dropping them off.
She looked over, and saw a girl somewhat larger than the others, with a happy grin on his face and pigtails. She wished she could be as happy as Zoe looked.
Wait, how do I know her name? She had sudden flashes, but they were of a very different looking girl...she just couldn't remember what they meant.
Linda walked over to them. "Umm...hi," she tried, gently.
The largest one, the one she identified as Zoe, smiled. "Hi," she said, shifting from leg to leg. The other girls giggled.
