"Do you...like...need directions or something?" Tiffany said.
Her best friends were looking at her like she was a stranger.
Melissa started to feel rather unsettled. She knew these girls were supposed to be her friends...but she couldn't remember what their names were. Something was happening to her.
She turned and looked around, wondering if this was some sort of joke played on her. When she turned back, the girls were walking away,
Gretchen paused for a second and looked over her shoulder at the confused looking girl standing in front of the school. She frowned, looking down at herself. She was...at home in her garden, and then....She pushed the thought away. It was so much cooler being in school than some old lady.
"Hurry up, Gretchen," Tiffany said.
She sped up her pace, feeling full of energy.
Melissa watched as all the kids headed into the school and looked around, wondering what she should do.
