"No entiendo. Lo que me paso? Qué paso con mi ropa?" Maria asked.

Melissa was confused. She knew that Miss Sanchez was from Mexico, but she had never heard her speak Spanish before. She had a very noticeable accent, but she always spoke English.

"Uh ... Miss Sanchez? Are you okay?" Melissa asked, seeing that her boss was disoriented for some reason.

Maria looked at Mrs. Wilson as her feelings towards her began to change. A moment ago, she felt timid towards her, but now she had a sense of superiority that kind of scared her. This whole situation scared her. It was like she was becoming a different version of herself. She looked around the lobby, seeing that other people had stopped and were watching her. A man walked towards her. "Miss Sanchez? Are you alright?" he asked. And then other people began to ask the same. Why were people being so courteous towards her? And where were these new feelings coming from? She began to feel dominating, in control ... but not of the present situation. It was more like she felt in control of people and part of her enjoyed that. The part that didn't, however, was still in control of her actions at the moment. That part was the original Maria Sanchez, the timid immigrant from a poor Mexican family, unlike the new Maria Sanchez, who was a power-driven socialite from a rich Mexican family.

She was obviously confused from all the commotion centering around her and all of these mismatched feelings and memories bombarding her mind. So it was totally understandable when she just sprinted out of the building and out towards the street. She needed some air and some space. And she needed some time to sort through what happened to her.
