Even with this threat, Linda still sat there and stared at the cereal bowl, keeping up with her protest.
"Linda if you don't eat your cereal I won't be taking you for ice cream when I pick you up from school is that understood?" he asks.
For some reason this seemed to light a spark in Linda and she quietly began to start eating her cereal which seemed to satsify Mikey who went back to reading the paper and drinking his coffee.
Occassionally Linda would look up at Mikey to see if there was anything different about him and at one point, she managed to catch that his hair was a little bit longer and had taken on a darker shade. This caused her to glance over at the kitchen window to see that her hair too had started to get darker.
Just then Mikey looks up at the clock and sets the coffee and the paper down. "Alright Linda time to go, did you finish your breakfast?" he asks as he glances down at the bowl to see just a few puffs still left in the bowl. "Well that's good enough. Grab your things and wait for me by the car I'll be right out." he says as he heads to his room to get his purse.
With that, Linda headed back up to her room to grab her backpack and head out the door to meet Mikey by the car.
