After getting fully dressed, Jennifer left the laundromat, which was still oddly empty of people, even at this time of day.
She headed home, but when she got there something was very strange. The house wasn't the same color it had been when she last saw it. The car in the driveway was different. She had to check to ensure it was the right address.
Lacking a key(And where in the outfit she was stuck wearing would it fit?), she knocked. The door opened, revealing her mother...yet not. There was something different about her.
"Were you out all night?" Her mother asked her. She made a noise and moved out of the way to let Jennifer in.
