Jon's left hand absentmindedly tugged on a pigtail as he stared in shock at his bedroom. Well, what he was sure should have been his bedroom. This room, however, looked nothing like he remembered.
Gone were the stuffed animals that normally adorned his small bed tucked in the corner. Gone was the pink and white dresser with his favourite unicorn statues. Even his dollhouse, which he knew held his all of his Barbie clothes, was missing.
In there place was something that looked alien to him. A large bed, unmade, with a dark blue comforter on it (where was his Disney Princess duvet??). A dark brown dresser with nothing on it a stack of laundry, some textbooks and a picture of his friend Karyn. The walls were covered with posters of half-naked women, most likely photo-enhanced, which only reminded him of his lost doll collection.
"What the hell is going on?" Jon squeaked in his little girl voice as he climbed up on the bed. Sitting with his feet dangling over the side he wondered if this room was the result of his wish.
