Lauren turned off the TV and turned towards Jon and smiled. "Now ... enough about your family problems. Let's focus on us," she said, leaning in and kissing him.
Jon tried to object, but not only did he have a girl kissing him, but it was one he had been physically attracted to for a long time, and whose recent personality change(at least from his point of view) made her just the kind of girl he'd fantasize about. Not only sexy, but fun to be with. She also seemed surprisingly normal for an actress...not that he knew any actresses. There had been this one kid at school who had been in a commercial for a local pizza place, but that wasn't the same thing.
She pulled back after what seemed to Jon to be many glorious seconds. "We could role-play, if you want," she said.
"What?"
"I mean, I understand how you might want to get into the role of Jon. He has a normal family life. And they were thinking of you when they wrote the role. We could do some role-playing. Hone our craft and have some fun. You can play Jon, and I'll play Sarah." She laughed. "I know the show notes say he thinks she's the sexiest girl in school. We could improve a scene where they end up making out..."
Jon stared at her.
