Suddenly, a familiar voice called out. "Jonathan...where have you been? I've been looking all over for you. Why are you hiding out on the set?"
He whirled around. Jon wasn't short for Jonathan.
It was Sarah McMillan. She wasn't dressed in her usually pink and preppy outfit. Instead, she was dressed quite casually. "Are you all right? You just vanished."
"Sarah? What's going on?" He asked.
"Sarah?" She frowned. "Are you feeling all right? Or is this some kind of acting game? I'm only playing Sarah. It's actually kind of fun. I've never played such a bitch before. Thanks for getting me the part."
He tried to wrap his mind around what was going on. Sarah, or whoever, was an actress, and apparently he was too, and the show or movie was about his life. He was about to respond when an older man entered the 'set'. "Jonathan, Lauren...what are you doing here? I thought you two had a date."
"I thought so too. But I just found him here," 'Lauren' said.
"Well, as long as you're here, we did some rewrites on the scenes for tomorrow. You can take them and study them before tomorrow." He handed Jon a script. The top page read, "You are What You Wish Starring Jonathan Madison and Shannon Ferguson," and tomorrow's date. It didn't seem to be the full script. He flipped through it too fast to read it, but enough to recognize the names of the characters. Karyn, Zoe, Sarah...none of the scenes seemed to be in order.
He remembered that shows often shot out of sequence and edited together. This must be the edits just for tomorrow.
He looked back and forth between the bearded man(a writer or director maybe?) and Sarah/Lauren, who apparently only played the part of a bitch in his life and might be his girlfriend, trying to decide what to do.
