"You ... you're my mom?" Mikey asked.
"Lydia," the other female said... "Is he all right?"
"Let's get you inside," Ms. Warren..or Lydia said. "I'm calling a Doctor." She firmly grasped Mikey's arm and with a look of intense concern, took him inside the house.
Mikey noticed the photos again. There were more of them...like filling in the blanks. The blanks seemed to be his life.
His new mom...maybe...took him upstairs and made him lie down. "You're saying you don't recognize me?"
"You're my teacher..." He said, sounding confused.
"No...I'm your mother, sweetie. I'm not sure what's wrong with you..." she felt his head. "No fever..." She got out her phone and did an internet search for "Unable to Recognize People." and came up with an answer that worried her even more. "Prosopagnosia...face blindness." The symptoms didn't quite fit, but suddenly, her child didn't recognize her or Xander.
She dialed her doctor. While she did, the doorbell rang. Xander went to answer it.
