Sarah, despite feeling extremely comfortable, still felt the need to know what had caused this. And school seemed as likely a place as anywhere to figure it out. She didn't seem concerned much about the idea of people seeing her like this.
She headed downstairs. Her parents weren't around...but what was new there? They were hardly around except to be critical of her. At least now, maybe they had something to be critical of. Before they were critical even though she'd tried hard to be like them.
She stopped off on the way for something to eat...not caring about her figure was another thing that she remembered being an annoyance before this change.
As she walked down the street, she spotted someone turning from a side street, and ending up walking in front of her. It was another teenage girl.
She didn't pay much attention till the stranger turned back, sensing someone behind her. "Sarah McMillan? Is that you?" She said in surprise.
Sarah paused. She'd almost not recognized the other teen. "What the fuck happened to you?" She asked.
