Zoe had never looked up to her average brother before, she didn't like how ordinary he was, she didn't want to be ordinary. That didn't stop the fact that they were related, and that she too, was more than likely an ordinary person. So she went the other way, rather than seeking to be more than her surroundings she rebelled, and just tried to be different than them.
That was the old Zoe. The new Zoe looked up to her brother like a God, he was perfect, the flaw of being superior she saw as confidence, and he was good looking and popular and he knew how to rule. If she was any other girl she would have had a crush on him, but she was his sister, and she knew some of that greatness had to be in her too, she just didn't know where. So she looked to the girls he hung out with, blonde beautiful, maybe not that smart but with good fashion sense. She wanted pointers, she wanted clues, she wanted to one day live up to his example, to be that confident, to weld the power and looks and charm of this family with the same easy that he did. It just didn't come as naturally to her as it did to him, so she settled for being as a close as possible to it. She really tried at it too, she put the work in, true her new genes which made Jon so popular helped her in certain areas, but she had the example of her mother to show what some hard work on your looks could do. She put the work in, she wanted to be pretty, to be adored, to be the sort of girl that Jon would accept as a sister.
So it really hurt her feelings when he called her a bitch.
Jon had been given every power and advantage by that wish, without him even wishing for it. He felt powerful, the stone literally could have given him anything and so he feared nothing. It was more a question of wondering what to take before he took it for himself. It had even improved his world with it, brought Karyn up to snuff, made his family some what bearable, and who knew what other things awaited him this day. If he wanted he could be king.
But not all things are as perfect as they seem, for one his sister was still annoying, just in a different way. Karyn, while certainly hot, he thought he could probably do better, not that all these little things couldn't be changed by the stone. Where was the stone?
