Kyla Leeson woke up and was halfway to the closet before she realized something was off. Her room was completely different. Her computer and books were all gone, replaced by fashion magazines, makeup, and a big mirror.
She looked at the new mirror. She was wearing a nightgown, her hair looked like she'd just come out of a salon, and her face was pimple and brace free.
Normally, she would be surprised at looking like a Barbie Doll, but somehow, her appearance filled her with satisfaction. You see, what Kyla hated most were popular girls who belittled people like...like she'd been. People who thought smart kids were to be made fun of. And who weren't that smart themselves.
An anger began to grow inside her. She needed to get herself ready for school...someone there was responsible for this...she was certain of it.
