They started to remove Wesley's clothes, wrapping them in plastic and taking them away...along with the rest of Wesley's things...all bagged, wrapped, and barcoded as if they were some sort of moving men.
Apparently they were decorators as well, quickly painting the room a pale lavender color. It was starting to look like a girl lived in the room. He turned, starting to head outside...realizing that if he didn't interrupt the strange men, they ignored him. "Robots,' he muttered. They might look human, but they acted like robots.
He headed down the stairs and opened the door in time to see another van pull up. Workmen opened the back, and unpacked...an unconscious form. He didn't see who it was, but they brought the person inside. The second van appeared full with Wesley's possessions and Wesley neatly packed in it.
This was the van Jon had been following. As he approached the Meadows house, being slower than a vehicle, he saw Biff outside, looking into the van, which seemed to be full of boxes.
"Madison? Biff said. "What are you doing here?"
"Looking for my sister...they took her last night."
"They just took my brother...who the hell are they?" Biff asked.
"I don't know," Jon said..."But they took her...and replaced her with Sarah...she thinks she's my sister now."
"Sarah?" Biff asked.
"Your girlfriend..you don't remember her?"
He shook his head. "So, these dicks stole my girlfriend, made me forget her...was she hot?"
Jon glared at him. "Is that really the most important question you have?"
Biff backed off. "They just took my brother."
"Did they bring a replacement?"
"I think so...I couldn't see who it was....but it wasn't a kid."
They headed back inside together. The workmen seemed to be bringing more boxes, but they'd already set up the unconscious form on the bed....it was Zoe.
