Hearing a knock at the door, Kendall turned and walked towards it. "What are they still doing here? They should be back at home base by now," he said, before opening the door.
Rachel was on edge ever since Jane made that blunder with the phone call and now things were even worse with the arrival of this man named Kendall. But when she saw Scarlet standing at the front door (wearing a set of men's clothing - she must have had a male glamour), all of her aggravation had disappeared instantly. They were back together. All four members of her coven were present and accounted for. And soon, they would be able to put an end to this body swapping phenomenon once and for all.
As soon as these FBI goons were gone.
"Kendall?" she heard Scarlet say. Did she know him?
Agent Kendall reached up and turned on his goggles. "Miss Anderson," he said. "Funny meeting you here." He grabbed her and pulled her into the house, then he pushed her towards Rachel and the rest of the "hostages".
"Are you okay, Scarlet?" Rachel asked.
"Yeah."
"Do you know this guy?" Rachel asked.
"Yeah." Scarlet looked disapprovingly at Kendall. "I know him."
"Oh, come now, Scarlet. May I call you Scarlet? You know, since we're all being so informal here." He smiled.
"Go to hell," Scarlet spat at him.
"That's not very nice," he said. "Is it, Morris?"
"No, sir," Morris answered.
Kendall walked over to Scarlet and grabbed her arm forcefully. Then he pulled her down the hall and into a bathroom.
Rachel tried to follow, but that nerdy scientist guy (Morris) stopped her. "Get out of my way," she said.
"Not a chance. Now get back with the rest of the group," he ordered. It didn't sound very authoritative, but Rachel did as he asked anyway. Then he walked over to the front door and pulled Debra and George into the house. "Everyone stay right here where I can see you," Morris said, closing the door behind him.
George turned and looked at him. He didn't know what was going on here, but being a warden of a maximum security prison gave him a little bit of influence when it came to legal matters. "Listen. I'm the warden of the John Wilson Peniten ..."
Morris shoved George back, causing him to collide with both Debra and Zoe. "I said stay," Morris said.
"We have to do something," Athena whispered to Rachel.
"I know," she said. She thought for a moment, then smiled. "How about a simple yet affective spell?" she whispered to Athena.
Athena nodded, then began to chant.
