Sharon picked up the phone and called, thinking there wouldn't be any harm. But unknown to her, Rachel Harris (an astrologer, tarot card reader, and in this case - more importantly - a witch) was casting an incantation on her sister Jane.

And Sharon's phone call interrupted that incantation, causing Rachel's spell to mutate the already existing magic into something totally unpredictable.

But if there was a good side to this mistake, it was that the outcome was a lot like what was already happening, and not something worse.

"Hello?" a young woman's voice said over the phone. Sharon didn't recognize it.

"Is Jane there?" she asked.

"Sharon?" the voice asked.

Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light and when it was gone, Sharon found herself on the floor ... with a Barbie doll in her hand. "What?" She looked up and saw ... herself ... sitting on the living room sofa with a phone in her hand. "What's going on?" she asked, feeling dazed and confused.

"I don't wanna play with this," her body said, throwing the phone on the floor. "I wanna play with my dollies."

Sharon's eyes went wide. It was happening to her and her daughter. That body swapping thing. They were infected!

She looked down at her body, already knowing what she'd see (on the news, they described the phenomenon in great detail). She was wearing an enlarged version of what Sally was wearing. The pink dress looked ridiculous on her, but only she would see it that way. To everyone else, she would look like a 6-year old girl.

"I wonder who that is?" Jane said, reaching for the phone.

Rachel stopped her muttering, as her eyes went wide. "Wait, I'm not finished."

"Hello?" Jane asked, after picking up the phone.

There was a pause, then a voice asked "Is Jane there?" It was her sister.

"Sharon?" Jane asked.

Then there was another pause. And after it was done, Jane heard her sister say something strange. "I don't wanna play with this." Then the line went dead.

Jane turned towards Rachel, who seemed a little dizzy for some reason. "What just happened?" When she didn't answer, Jane walked over to her and grabbed her. "Did something happen to my sister?"

"What did she say to you?"

"She was acting like ... like ... oh my god, she was acting like Sally."

"Who's Sally?" Rachel asked.

"That's my cousin," Zoe said. "She's six."

"My incomplete incantation must have mutated the effects of the phenomenon, pushing it through the phone line and into your sister's house," Rachel said.

"Fix it," Jane said.

"I can't. I can't even fix this town. Not unless we get a fourth person to help, as I said before."

"Then I'll do it. I'll be part of your group," Jane said.

"I think you mean coven. But it doesn't work that way. You're not a witch."

"Then why do you need to find Jon? Is he a witch?"

"That remains to be seen," Rachel said. "Now, if you don't mind. I'd like to perform this spell correctly this time. So stand still and don't say anything."

And Jane did just as she asked.
