Jane Madison's younger sister Sharon was sitting in her living room watching the TV intently, as her 6-year old daughter Sally played with her dolls on the floor.
She couldn't believe what was happening. A body swapping epidemic? It just sounded too crazy. But it wasn't a prank. It was on all the major news networks. It seemed that everyone was talking about it.
But all of those news reporters looked at this phenomenon in a purely analytical and disconnected manner. Sharon couldn't do that. Her sister was in that town, at risk of getting swapped with some other person. And all Sharon could do was sit there and watch it all unfold.
So far, the only affected area had been her sister's hometown. But who knew? For all she knew, this was only the beginning. Maybe the affected area would start to expand. But hopefully not.
She watched the news a little longer, but then decided that enough was enough. She was going to give her sister a call. They said on the news that no one should contact anyone inside the town, but Sharon didn't see any harm.
So she picked up the phone and called.
The front door of the Madison house opened and six people walked in - Zoe (who looked like Biff Meadows), Athena (who looked like Angie Rodriguez), Rachel (who looked like Jacob Foster's daughter Mary), Jane (who looked like the stripper Gloria Reynolds), Tim (who looked like the stripper Destiny), and Mikey (who looked like the cheerleader Janelle Carter).
"Thanks for using that spell on me," Mikey said. "I don't want to act like that Janelle girl."
"Thanks for fixing me too," Tim said. "The last thing I want to believe is that I really am a stripper."
"No problem," Rachel said. "I just wish we could find Scarlet or at least Jon."
"Why do you need to find my son?" Jane asked.
"He might be able to help us fix everyone at once," Athena said.
"How?"
"It's complicated. But we can't do it with just the three of us. We can only fix one person at a time," Rachel said. "Now, it's your turn," she said to Jane. "Just stand still. It won't hurt at all." As she began muttering a bunch of nonsense, the phone rang.
"I wonder who that is?" Jane said, reaching for the phone.
Rachel stopped her muttering, as her eyes went wide. "Wait, I'm not finished."
"Hello?" Jane asked, after picking up the phone. "Sharon?"
Suddenly, Rachel watched as Jane's aura flared, causing her to shut her eyes immediately. When she opened them, she felt dizzy. What was that? she thought. Then she wished even more that Scarlet was there doing these spells instead of her. Sure, she had performed them flawlessly on herself, Zoe, Athena, Tim, and Mikey. But they all stayed still and quiet during the incantation. Jane, on the other hand, had moved and even talked, before the incantation was complete.
She had no idea what her incomplete incantation had done. Hopefully, it didn't do anything.
