Jon and Karyn walked back downstairs and saw Meagan and the little girl that now had Karyn's body, but Biff and Janelle were gone.
"Where did they go?" Jon asked Meagan, who he still thought looked funny wearing his 1-Up Mushroom T-shirt and jeans.
"The Goth girl ... uh, I mean Biff, said he had no reason to stick around. So he left. This isn't his house, you know. I mean, he may look like your sister. But he's not."
"What about Janelle?" Karyn asked.
"She left too. I think she was getting homesick. She was worried that maybe her parents had switched."
"What about you? Aren't you worried about your parents?" Jon asked.
"No. My parents live in another state. I'm a college girl, remember?"
"Oh, yeah."
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"That must be them," Karyn said.
"Them who?" Meagan asked.
After an hour of running and hiding, Alexis made it to a place where she knew she could get help - a women's clothing store. She was sure she could find a bra and shirt to wear, and maybe a skirt to replace her grungy jeans. She'd be back to normal in no time.
She browsed the bras, looking for her size. At this point, she didn't care if it looked really sexy or not. She just wanted a bra. After a minute or two, she found one that she liked and took it.
"Shopping for a girlfriend?" one of the saleswomen asked, approaching her.
"What? No, this is for me."
The saleswoman gave her an odd look. And after Alexis made a motion to put the bra on, the woman stopped her. "This isn't the place to do that. There are children here," she said, nodding towards a little girl who was shopping with her mother.
"That's why I'm putting it on. I don't want to appear indecent." Then she put the bra on anyway and suddenly she felt a whole lot better. Not only did her embarrassment melt away, but her back wasn't aching anymore. It's not easy carrying around D-cup breasts when not having support.
She glanced over at the mother with the little girl. She was giving Alexis a disapproving look and was covering her daughter's eyes. Why was she acting like that? Would she rather see Alexis be topless?
She moved on to the clothing racks and picked out a couple of cute tops, then she went into one of the dressing stalls to try each one out. And that's when she saw her reflection. In all her dashing about, not once had she seen what everyone else saw. It explained some things, like why certain people were acting the way they did. But that didn't make her feel any better.
In the mirror, she saw an attractive muscular man (someone she could fall in love with in a heartbeat). He was wearing a pair of grungy jeans, a pair of work boots ... and a bra.
Ned still couldn't believe that this was really happening. At first, he thought he was just tripping. But he wasn't getting high at the time, so there must have been a different reason for it.
He looked down at the cheerleader uniform he was still wearing. It looked so odd on his body, but no one seemed to think it was strange to see a boy wearing girl's clothes, especially something so girlish as these.
As he sat there on the park bench, a girl approached him. "Gwen? What are you doing here?" She girl was looking directly at him. Why was she calling him Gwen? Wasn't it obvious that he was a guy dressed as a girl? He didn't think he looked anything like a girl at all.
"Gwen? Are you okay? You seem dazed," the girl said.
