Vincent raised his eyebrow at me. "You let another Dom play with you and your Sub!?" he asked me in shock. "Yeah. I am a Switch and I trust Mike with my life. There is nothing that would stop me from playing with him. Jamie'll play with us too." "So how about me? Can I play with you two sometimes?" he asked. I shrugged and said "I don't know about that. We're not as close to you as Mike or Jack are to us." Vincent just sighed deeply. It gave me lots of satisfaction. On top of the agency, we all had an apartment to live in. Jaime, Mike and I went to Mike's room to keep up the façade. He was breathing heavily as he got to his bedroom. "I don't think I can keep doing all this." he said to me as his wings buzzed nervously. I said "Listen. I will play with you for as long as you need." He nodded. I was able to Dom both of them fine. Jamie was getting a bit too used to my touch so I increased it a bit. Mike was surprising good at taking it on his back. I made sure to avoid his wings because I did not want to risk hurting him. They were both refreshed. I kept the lie that Mike Dommed us.
Jack and Kyle had been cruising that night for a female Dom or Switch. They found a Dom willing to play with them. It seemed that they were as much of a pair in play as they were with their hero partners. I kept that to myself in order to not upset them. An in-game week later, a vicious brawl broke out on the outskirts of the city between the Woodsmen and the Dust Bunnies. It then quickly devolved into a gun fight. Vincent and Kyle were on it and they brought both gangs down before their could be any civilian casualties. Banana and Red Grape were the talk of the town. I couldn't lie. It was a bit more impressive than a few random bank robbers. Some of the gangsters even had powers. That still did not mean that I did not get any cheers or recognition on patrol though. Grapefruit and Strawberry were known in the city too. When Mike and Jamie got their first mission, it was a fire. The two of them ran into a burning building and rescued the people trapped inside before the whole building collapsed. The arsonist was not found. That was fine as long as the people were now safe.
Arson aside, Barron and Scion got their chance to shine. When a jewelry store was robbed, they were able to track down the culprits and return the stolen goods. Scion's power blasted them and Barron trapped them with the fluid from his chest. That was enough to bring our profile up in the city. Since this was in a largely rural area of the country, most agencies did not service them. That meant that lots of crimes went unopposed and even more got unresolved even with police involvement. Just being here raised our profile in the region. However that lead to problems of their own. It made us a target on the streets as we patrolled the city. Criminal thugs and gangsters of all shapes and sizes would stop us on the street and attack. It was fine with me as I was confident that we could take them. The other Doms could hold their own in the case a Dom tried to use their voice during an attack. It meant that Jaime and Mike were the most vulnerable. Jamie was mine so he had a bit of a resistance to it. Mike was not so lucky. He could barely withstand the voice of most of the criminals.
Having such a vulnerability was regrettable, but could not be helped. He was a hero and needed to be outside patrolling as we were a small agency that had no vehicles to our name. Once we had gotten enough fame and the fortune that would come with it, we would be able to get some. At that point we could also start looking to hire sidekicks. Once we could afford to hire staff and sidekicks, we would also have the time to stop going on so many patrols. We could sit in the office until we got called in to do something. That was how the other agencies did it. I decided that what we would need to do to really get a foothold in the city would be to find one of the gang's headquarters and bust them. I proposed it to the team and they seemed into the idea. We made sure to keep our eyes peeled when it came to our patrols. It was a good thing we were in heightened alert. Jack pulled me back in time to dodge a pipe ready split my skull open. The one wielding it was a dirty blond with unkempt hair that covered up half his face. His sharp teeth we able to be seen as he chuckled.
