Bellona decided to keep her distance from the man because she wasn’t certain where he was going and she wasn’t ready for a confrontation. Her nose caught the musky smell of the man and she had to admit as she got closer to the man it started to grow on her. He cut a very handsome figure in the fading sun with his golden hair.
They were starting to close on the tower and she was starting to think she had read the man wrong. Perhaps he had just been comforting her wife and her own transformation had been an accident. Giving out the wrong potion was entirely possible. Her mind felt cloudy and it was hard to focus or think about anything other than the strange man entering the tower.
She wanted to head up to him but for some reason, that felt wrong. Something inside her was trying to tell her she was in danger but how could she be in danger when such a kind and caring man was close by. He would protect her from any danger that might come for her and she could spend the night thanking him with her soft feminine form until both of them were exhausted.
Light would soon be gone from the sky and if she wasn’t careful she would be caught in the cold with few supplies. How had she lost track of so much time? There should still be hours of daylight left yet she could see the sun vanishing over the horizon. Maybe if she asked nicely the man inside the tower would let her stay with him in his nice warm bed. She could think of several ways that she could persuade him with her body. Bellona took a step towards the toward the tower but something was beckoning her to leave this place. Didn’t she have someone far from here who cared about her?
The thoughts felt like trying to hold onto a dream, they kept fading away before they could be fully seen or realized. Inside the tower was something that was real but there was someone far from here who was real, a woman, how was she connected to her? She eyed her body and tried to remember who she was, even her name didn’t sound right to her. Bellona, a woman gave her that name, who was that woman to her, a mother, a sister.
A chill wind reminded her, she had a decision to make and she needed to make it quickly. Camp out here in the elements or she could go to the collapsing tower in front of her. There was danger in the tower from the man inside of it but she wanted him, more than anything she could remember, though that wasn’t much at this point. Perhaps things would be clearer if she searched for a place to stay a distance from him because being close to him confused her mind but she wanted to remain close by so she could watch and observe him.
