Alana made the best choice as she normally had little support. She went by the strength of her many abilities. She didn’t want to drain the strength of the church for her sake. That mistake would cost her dearly. Allies often won you the day and Elliott would show her by putting his to good use. Alana may soon find herself on his side whether she wants to or not.
Elliott called to the bats in the cave that they may serve him. When the bats became entranced by his will he imprinted upon their minds the image of Alana and commanded them to search for her. When they found them he would get her to a location of his choosing. As the bats flew past him in a hurry to execute his will. Elliott sank into the earth to rest until one them returned.
Elliott planned to lure Alana to a remote location where she would have no support and little chance of getting help in time. He would turn her into one of his servants because why waste such talent. The only decision would be what to transform her into? Vampire bride seemed obvious with her beauty and intelligence. He never liked stupidity in a consort. A werewolf might be nice as she struggled against primal urges with her misguided morals. So many pleasurable things he could do to her.
Elliott let his forces dwindle with boredom that centuries of time gave him. Now he began to ponder once again growing his monstrous forces. He hardly trusted King Emeril to leave him alone after the church of fiery light got destroyed. He would need to have powerful forces at him command again to protect himself from the king’s treachery. Perhaps reaching out to old allies to help him might be a good idea. As well as taking out some of the King’s own elite people.
