"I never called you a freak. But there's no rule that Goths have to hate everyone," she said. "Goth and bitch aren't synonyms...If you're difficult to live with, it isn't because you're a Goth."
"My brother would never talk to me like that," Zoe said.
"I don't exactly look like anyone's brother anymore," Jon said. "Wasn't that what you wanted?"
Ron looked at Sabrina. "Is that how I act?" He asked, curiously.
"Well, you speak your mind, but you usually don't insult strangers like that. Those two probably have some existing baggage. How are you feeling?"
Ron thought about it. "Normal, I guess. I mean, I know this isn't normal, but it feels like it is."
They turned back to Jon and Zoe. Sabrina grabbed Zoe's arm. "Look, you wanted your brother to be a Goth girl...you can't complain if he's acting like one, right?"
Zoe looked at her, and suddenly, calmed down. Sabrina sighed. This girl had a bad temper. Hopefully she'd learn to control it before she got into trouble. Sabrina herself was only a few years older and had been in that sort of trouble enough to have learned better.
She got a look from Zoe. "He called me a bitch," she said, scowling. "Is that Jon talking, or Roxanne?"
"Neither." She scowled even more. Sabrina felt almost sorry for her. She could see Ron feeling even more so. He almost looked like he wanted to comfort her.
