CTS: Close to Home

Still in a sour mood from her earlier confrontation, Thea glanced down at her nearly empty gas gauge. Cursing to herself, she knew she might not get a chance later since this boring town closes everything down so early. Just as she was about to pull in to the gas station, a minivan turned in right in front of her.
Jon's mom had been about to start dinner when she realized they were almost out of milk. She'd have to run to the convenience store. It was just as dusk was falling and she honestly didn't see Thea in her dark leather jacket and black motorcycle.
Just as she pulled into a spot and got out, Thea roared into the spot and ripped off her helmet.
"Hey bitch! Watch where the hell you're driving you fucking moron!"
Jon's mom didn't really know what she was talking about, but apologized, brushing past Thea on her way into the store.
It would be a very different woman walking out of the store however.
