Ron was surprised at how quickly Hermione agreed with the little plot for vengeance.
"But if he... she doesn't recall being male."
"The world will still be a better place with one less Draco." Harriet said adamantly.
Hermione took the wand out, and examined it. She spoke an incantation, and a yellow glow surrounded the wand as it floated out of her hand. It rose until it was six inches above her open palm and started to slowly spin.
She saw the girls looking at her, "An examination spell." she said dismissively.
"If we want to get away with this, we'll need a couple of additional things."
She sighed when they still looked uncertain.
"An invisibility cloak... and a Marauder's Map..."
She shooed them away with a gesture, and concentrated on examining the wand in more detail. The glow changed in colour shifting from yellow to a pale green.
Once Ron and Harry had gone, she was able to concentrate properly. The wand was incredibly powerful, and as she dug deeper, it was clear that the creator was a wizard of incredible power.
Finally the wand gave up it's creator's name. Rowena Ravenclaw... one of the founders of Hogwarts. Hermione let out a relieved hiss, she wasn't sure ... until now ... whether this was Dark Magic. But with as fine a mind as Rowena, there wouldn't be anything tainted about it.
The girls returned, and with a smile Hermione noticed how much more femininely they were moving. How they looked comfortable in their bodies.
