The day started normally, she met her friends, made fun of the nerdy girl, went to class. It was when she got called to the principles office that things got bad. Apparently her grades were not up to snuff, and she would no longer be allowed to participate in extra curricular activities until they improved...This meant no more Cheerleading. Cheerleading was her life! It was her main status maker, it was easy to be a pretty girl, those were common enough, many girls were pretty enough and those who weren't didn't matter, it was the extras you could bring with it that made you powerful, and there was no better extra than being head Cheerleader. That was all gone now...she was just Sarah McMillan, girl with the nice cloths and impressive cleavage. This was the "No Good"
Then she, while pouting outside of school (and skipping class) had slipped and fallen down a hill. It was the spring and in the thaw everything was muddy, she didn't just fall she tumbled, and came out looking like Augustus Gloop from Willy Wonka. Everything she had on was ruined and she was forced to shower and spend the rest of the day in what cloths fit her from the lost and found. No make up, looking like she had just gotten out of the shower, in a T shirt (That had a small hole in it!) and sweat pants. At lunch her own friends passed her by without noticing her. This was "Rotten".
After lunch she started feeling...ill? Not herself, she had lost everything that made her "Sarah McMillan" and now she was cast adrift in the world...she didn't know what it was to be just herself...in a trip to the bathroom she saw in the mirror a smaller girl, not sexy, not flashy, not proud. She felt mousey, she felt ugly even, upon seeing Tiffany her first reaction was to be intimidated. Tiffany was so much bigger and more powerful than she was, and she didn't want to be made fun of for what she was, had become, and it hurt even more when Tiffany seemed to pay Sarah no mind. Sarah looked at herself in the mirror, she wasn't "Sarah" any more, she was less than that, she looked into her eyes in the mirror, she seemed to shrink by the second, almost as if she could see herself becoming less. "Sarah" was gone, now she was "Sara". She went back to class. She felt out of her depth, everything seemed on another level and she found she had to try in keeping up with the rest of the class, she felt like she was less than even them...and then she realized she was, she wasn't a Junior like these people...she was a Sophomore...but she felt she had something to prove. She wasn't one of them, but she wasn't that different, she could take back her old life, she could get good grades, grow up a bit, give her time and she could be anything..even president! While this wasn't the best thing in the world, it had certianly been a "Bad day" for her, she had some hope that there was a way out of it...with hard work and study, she doubled her efforts into her books, as more of who she was seemed to drift away somewhere.
