Sarah walked into her first class of the day (American History) and sat down, crossing her legs. She smiled at the teacher, trying to gain his attention (which worked), then checked her phone for recent texts.
The bell rang, indicating that class was starting, and Sarah was asked to put her phone away. Begrudgingly, she did so, then had to sit there and listen to the cute teacher rambling on and on about something she didn't care about. This class was such a bore. She wished school was out so she could be out doing things were her friends. Like shopping or something. But no, she was stuck here instead.
As Sarah sat there, she felt a strange tingling sensation, then it was gone. Dismissing it, she turned her attention back to the teacher. Just get your point across and stop talking, she thought. The sooner this class was over, the better.
