AN: From interactive "Harry Potter Transformations", chapter originally written by Mr.George
"Even as a horse..." Harry added as the magic swirled around Ron's head, it spilled downwards until his entire equine body was covered with a spinning cocoon of white magical fire.
The wand fell from Harry's limp hand, as he watched the equine face shorted, keeping her coppery mane, it shortened and distorted until the familiar Weasley face appeared. At least, it was Ron's quirky smile, a slightly baffled and bemused look. He looked down on Harry through the gaps in the white flaring light.
The light started to pulse in brightness, and Harry raised his hand to shield his eyes, as he took a pace or two backwards. Ron had no alternative but to close his eyes. He felt his body shift, the tail retreating into his body was particularly unsettling, although he desperately wanted to open his eyes and watch the changes, the light was shining through his closed lids, a veiny scarlet firework, tracing his arcs of light. The whole process made him think of his animagus form... he didn't want to think about it. He didn't want to think of one particular aspect... one aspect felt not wrong... but different ... but absent. He shuddered and repressed the thought instead focussing on his return to humanity.
With a final pulse, the white glow grew to it's highest pitch before fading with a silent explosion.
The two Gryffindors stood blinking as their eyesight struggled to return. Harry rubbed his eyes, trying to speed up the process. However, even now the blurry outline of his friend was far too tall for him to be fully restored.
Harry saw the copper crowned friend, and had to estimate that he was now over seven feet tall.
Ron too was struggling, as his eyesight returned it was clear he was still taller than before. It afforded him a view of the top of the chosen one's head. He tried repeatedly blinking, but the blurry outline of Harry stayed the same, he couldn't even make out any details from his face... or even that scar.
