Witnessing the murder seemed to be more than a bit traumatizing to the siblings. They held their stomachs and threw up. Brianna gently rubbed their backs and calmed them down. She then put the gun in the ooze of her chest for safe keeping. When they were ready to go, Robin told them where they were staying. They had a safe spot in the park where they had a bench. Brianna shook her head. "You have me now. We can find somewhere better to be. I know it." She did not want to live the way of the homeless. Brianna then bent down and looked through the man's wallet. He had $253 on him. "Let's go. We can go get some food and stay in a motel for the night." The two followed with a new pep in their steps. She could tell that they have not slept inside in a long while. The went to the cheapest motel in the city and found that they could take a room for three days. It cost $180. She paid the front desk and was given the key. When they got in the room, the siblings just jumped on the beds. After they finished playing, Brianna got them to tell her more about what happened earlier. It was sad.
Under normal circumstances, they would panhandle and dance for enough money to get something to eat. This was a city full of tourists and the rich. You really only needed to get a good showing that impressed a couple of the audience. Robin and Nathan had clear and fair skin. They had grassy green eyes and really unkempt, long strawberry blond hair. It seemed that they both were skilled enough in dancing to get by on their own. They had blankets on them and they took it with them everywhere they went. Now that they were indoors, they were able to cover themselves up one one bed with their blankets and Brianna took the other for herself. "We have a home base now. We have three days to find more money and get out of the city. We don't want to get caught by that gang again. Do you have any ideas about who they are? If not, what they do in the city would be fine." she told them. "They are the orphan gang called the Sugar Hills. The adults use them to do dirty work. We were dancing for money on their turf and they chased us down. We had to dance. We were low on supplies." Robin said.
That explained why they were being chased down in the alley when she arrived. Brianna wondered where their base was. If she knew where it was, she could take them down. She then thought better of it as she rubbed her stomach. She had one of Kenny's eggs inside her. She was waiting for it to hatch. When she could give birth to it, she could use the child as a host. Orion's spawn was so strong, he could not destroy it. In fact, he was in serious danger of being destroyed from the inside. Blaze even had a hard time breaking the offspring down. She had mastered the same amount of trees as Orion. Once the host was old enough to take over, Brianna really would be a powerful entity. She smiled just thinking about it. It was certainly a long term plan, but it could work. "Let's go to bed for now. We can do more in the morning." she said warmly. The sibling nodded and turned out the light. They went to sleep as she looked over them. In the morning, they left the motel and walked around the city. They were able to buy some food to eat with the money they had. The siblings scarfed down all the food.
